What does a clownfish eat?

Clownfish are omnivores, which means they eat both plants and animals. Their diet includes a variety of small organisms, such as algae, zooplankton, small crustaceans, and worms. They also sometimes feed on the mucus produced by anemones. Clownfish often live in close association with sea anemones, and they rely on the anemone's tentacles for protection from predators. In return, the clownfish helps to keep the anemone clean by eating parasites and debris from its tentacles.
