Are Actinia Equina safe for clownfish?
Actinia equina, commonly known as the beadlet anemone, is not suitable for clownfish. Clownfish, also known as anemonefish, have evolved specific symbiotic relationships with certain species of sea anemones, such as those from the genera Stichodactyla, Heteractis, and Entacmaea.
Actinia equina is not a host anemone for clownfish. Therefore, it is not recommended to keep clownfish with Actinia equina as it may not provide them with the necessary protection and symbiotic benefits they require.
