How does a male chicken make baby chickens with female?

Male chickens, or roosters, don't actually "make" baby chickens. They contribute genetically, but the process is a bit more complex than that. Here's how it works:

* Roosters don't have penises. They have a structure called a cloaca, which is a shared opening for their digestive, urinary, and reproductive systems.

* Hens also have a cloaca.

* During mating, the rooster mounts the hen and positions his cloaca over hers. He then ejects sperm into her cloaca.

* The sperm travels to the hen's oviduct. This is where the egg is fertilized.

* The hen then lays the fertilized egg.

So, the rooster's role is to provide the sperm to fertilize the egg, but the hen is the one who actually produces the egg and lays it.

It's important to note that not all eggs laid by hens are fertilized. If a hen hasn't been around a rooster, the eggs will be infertile and won't hatch into chicks.
