What is a newborn chicken?
A newborn chicken is called a chick. Chicks are newly hatched baby chickens that are typically covered in soft, fluffy down feathers. They are born with their eyes open and are able to walk and feed themselves almost immediately. Chicks require proper care and nutrition to grow and develop into healthy adult chickens. During the early stages of their life, chicks are highly dependent on their caretaker for warmth, food, and protection. Over time, they gradually grow and develop, transitioning from helpless hatchlings to fully independent chickens.
