How long to deep fry frozen chicken tenders?
Ingredients
* 1 pound frozen chicken tenders
* 1 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer or large saucepan over medium heat to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge the chicken tenders in the flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
4. Carefully place the chicken tenders into the hot oil.
5. Cook the chicken tenders for 3-4 minutes, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
6. Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and drain on paper towels.
7. Serve the chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips
* To ensure the chicken tenders are cooked through, insert a meat thermometer into the thickest part of the tender. The internal temperature should reach 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
* If you do not have a deep fryer, you can also deep fry the chicken tenders in a large saucepan. Just be sure to use a heavy-bottomed saucepan to prevent the oil from overheating.
* Serve the chicken tenders with your favorite dipping sauce, such as ranch dressing, honey mustard, or barbecue sauce.
