How do you make struesel?

Ingredients:

* 1 cup all-purpose flour

* 1/2 cup sugar

* 1/4 teaspoon salt

* 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cut into small pieces

Instructions:

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.

2. Add the butter and use your fingers to work it into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse crumbs.

3. Use your hands to press the streusel mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.

4. Bake at 375°F for 15-20 minutes, or until the streusel is golden brown.

Tips:

* To make a gluten-free streusel, use gluten-free flour instead of all-purpose flour.

* To make a vegan streusel, use vegan butter instead of unsalted butter.

* You can add spices or other flavorings to the streusel, such as cinnamon, nutmeg, or vanilla extract.

* Streusel can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days, or in the freezer for up to 2 months.
