Where can I find a recipe for Halloween cookies?
Here is a simple Halloween cookies recipe:
Ingredients:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- Orange and black sprinkles, for decoration (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt into a medium bowl. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Beat until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing until combined. Do not overmix.
- Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls (using a cookie scoop makes it easy to get uniform cookies!) onto prepared baking sheet, spacing them at least 2 inches apart to allow them to spread.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges of cookies are just beginning to brown and centers are set. Remove to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Decorate cooled cookies with orange and black sprinkles, if desired.
Enjoy your delicious Halloween-themed cookies!
