Does anyone have a recipe for salmon mousse using evaporated milk. I am gutted and must got rid of my tried tested which made every year Christmas?
Salmon Mousse
Ingredients:
* 1 pound skinless, boneless salmon fillet, flaked
* 1/2 cup evaporated milk
* 1/4 cup mayonnaise
* 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
* 1/4 cup finely chopped celery
* 1/4 cup finely chopped fresh parsley
* 1/8 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions:
1. In a food processor, combine the salmon, evaporated milk, mayonnaise, red onion, celery, parsley, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
2. Process until smooth.
3. Transfer the mixture to a serving bowl and cover with plastic wrap.
4. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
5. Serve with crackers, bread, or vegetables.
