How long do you cook a tri tip on George Forman?

Tri-Tip is not recommended to be cooked on a George Foreman grill because it is a relatively thick cut and should be seared on high heat to get a good crust. A George Forman grill is not great at searing meat, so you would end up with a tough and overcooked piece of meat if you tried to cook it this way.
