What to do if your crabbitat has too low humidity?

If your crabbitat has low humidity, you can do the following to raise it:

- Mist the tank with water. Give the tank regular mist with dechlorinated water. It is important to aim for a humidity level between 75% and 80%. However, avoid over-misting as this can cause the substrate to become too damp.

- Cover the tank with a lid. Covering the tank will help to keep the moisture from evaporating. You can use a glass or plastic lid, or even a piece of saran wrap.

- Add moist substrate. If the substrate is dry, add more moist substrate. This will help to increase the humidity in the tank.

- Add a water bowl. Adding a large bowl of saltwater will help to increase the humidity and give the crabs a place to drink.

- Remove dry decorations. Remove any dry decorations from the tank as these can absorb moisture.

- Monitor the humidity level. Use a hygrometer to monitor the humidity level in the tank. This will help you to make sure that the humidity is at a good level for your crabs.
