How to Make Delicious Wine Slush
If you are looking for something different to serve on a hot summer evening, try sipping a wine slush while sitting on the screened porch, enjoying the quiet or the company of friends. This drink can be served in glasses that have been in the freezer for a while with a fresh piece of fruit on the top, or offer it in a tall iced tea glass with a straw. The mix can be stored in the freezer for a couple of weeks -- if you don't drink it first.
Things You'll Need
- 12 ounces frozen orange juice
- 48 ounces fruit punch
- Juice of two lemons
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Bottle of wine, cold
- Noncaffeinated lemon-lime soda
Instructions
-
Mix all of the ingredients together, except the soda.
-
Place the mixture in the freezer for several hours.
-
Use an ice cream scoop to fill glasses halfway with the slush. Fill the glasses the rest of the way with soda.
