What is the capacity of a tea pot?
The capacity of a teapot can vary greatly depending on its size and design. Teapots can range in capacity from a few cups (around 240 millilitres or 8 ounces) to several litres. Generally, teapots designed for individual use have a capacity of around 2 to 4 cups, while teapots intended for group use or larger gatherings may have a capacity of 6 cups or more. Some specialty teapots, such as those used for brewing loose-leaf tea, may have a capacity of only 1 cup or less, while decorative or ceremonial teapots can have a capacity of several litres.
