How to Make a Non-Alcoholic Hot Buttered Rum (5 Steps)
Make a non-alcoholic hot buttered rum and warm up your senses on a dreary winter's day. The grown up version of this drink was originally used as a children's tonic many years ago, and this non-alcoholic re-creation can easily fill the bill again.

- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 scoops of butter rum ice cream
- 1 teaspoon rum flavoring

- Butter
- Freezer-safe container
- Butter rum ice cream
- Coffee cup
- Powdered sugar
- Rum flavoring
- Cinnamon
Instructions
-
Mix the butter and brown sugar until smooth. Blend in powdered sugar and cinnamon.
-

-
Place the mix in a freezer-safe container and store in the freezer until needed.
-
Make a non-alcoholic hot buttered rum by stirring 3 to 4 tablespoons of this mixture into a coffee mug full of near-boiling water.
-
Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg (to taste) to make this drink complete.
