Register for the required five-hour training class. There are many places to complete the required class. See Resources for links to programs and sites.
Attend the training class. The fee for the class is $65 as of June 8, 2010, according to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission, and the cost for the permit is $20.
Take your notarized application to the Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission with the permit fee of $20. This is done once the class is completed and the exam is passed. The license is permanent and has a duration of five years. Local Alcoholic Beverage Commission offices are as follows:
