What fruit makes food taste hot?
There is no fruit that directly makes food taste hot. Hotness, or spiciness, is caused by chemicals called capsaicinoids found in peppers and other plants in the nightshade family.
Fruits, on the other hand, generally contain sugars that contribute to sweetness and other flavors.
While some fruits, like mangoes, pineapples, and papayas, can be quite spicy or have a strong flavor that might contrast with other foods and make them taste hot in comparison, they don't actually contain capsaicinoids.
