How to Make a Flaming Volcano Drink
The Flaming Volcano is a cocktail favorite that has red tones and a flaming crater in its center. The Flaming Volcano is usually found on the drink menu of Asian restaurants, or locations that serve exotic island cocktails.
Things You'll Need
- Blender
- Volcano drink mug
- 2 oz unsweetened lemon juice
- 4 oz. orange juice
- 1 oz. light rum
- 1 oz. brandy
- 1 oz. 151 Rum (extra strength)
- 2 oz. almond flavored syrup
- 2 scoops crushed or chipped Ice
How to Make a Flaming Volcano Drink

Add the ice, almond flavored syrup, brandy, light rum, orange juice and lemon juice in your blender.

Blend on high until all ingredients are blended together smoothly, then pour the contents into a traditional volcano drink mug.

Carefully pour the 151 rum into the center of the mug. Do not mix it in; just pour it on top.

Using a long lighter or match, like those used for lighting fireplaces, light the 151 rum in the center of the mug and serve this drink flaming hot. As the Flaming Volcano burns, a crater will form in the drink from the melted ice.
