Do coffee and chocolate come from same plant?

Coffee and chocolate do not come from the same plant. Coffee beans come from the coffee plant, _Coffea_, a genus of flowering plants in the family _Rubiaceae_. Chocolate comes from the cacao plant, _Theobroma cacao_, a species of evergreen tree in the _Malvaceae_ family.
