Where did coffee beans originate from?
The origins of coffee and the locations of the earliest uses have been subject to some debate. It is believed that the origin of the bean is from forests on the Ethiopian Plateau. The earliest credible evidence of coffee-drinking, however, is from the 15th century in the Sufi monasteries of Yemen.
