How to Add Condensed Milk to Coffee
Condensed milk is milk that has had more than half of its water content removed through evaporation. However, it's usually called "sweetened condensed milk" because it has a large quantity of sugar added to it, which makes it very sweet and creamy. The milk can be used interchangeably with whole milk or creamer for coffee drinking. While condensed milk eliminates the need for sugar to sweeten coffee, it has more calories (90 per oz.) than whole milk (17 per oz.).
Things You'll Need
- Coffee cup
- Teaspoon
Instructions
-
Pour freshly brewed coffee into a coffee cup. Fill the cup until the coffee is about 1/2 inch from the brim.
-
Open a can of sweetened condensed milk and measure 1 tsp. of it.
-
Add the 1 tsp. of milk to the coffee and mix it thoroughly with the spoon.
-
Taste the coffee to see if it's creamy enough for your liking. If it's not, blend in another teaspoon of milk and taste it again. Keep adding the milk by the teaspoon until it tastes satisfactory.
