How to Make a Barbados Breeze Drink (5 Steps)
The Barbados Breeze drink is an alcoholic beverage made with rum and various flavorings. It's sweet, light, refreshing and is a huge hit at many cocktail parties. This recipe yields approximately one 6-oz. Barbados Breeze cocktail, but it can easily be doubled or tripled to serve more people if necessary.
Things You'll Need
- Rum
- Orange curacao
- Tall glass
- Drink stirrer or teaspoon
- Fresh lime
- Granulated sugar
- Club soda
- Orange wedge (optional)
- Maraschino cherry (optional)
Instructions

Add 1/4 cup rum and 2 tbsp. orange curacao to a tall drinking glass. Stir well to combine, using a drink stirrer or teaspoon. Light or dark rum may be used, depending on preference.

Cut a fresh lime in half and squeeze the juice into a small measuring cup. Add 2 tbsp. of the fresh lime juice to the rum mixture. Stir to combine.

Add 1 tsp. granulated sugar to the glass. Stir until the sugar is completely dissolved in the rum and lime mixture.

Add 1/4 cup club soda to the glass. Fill the glass the rest of the way with ice cubes and stir to combine, using the stirrer or spoon. Make sure to thoroughly incorporate all ingredients for the best taste.

Place an orange wedge on the side of the glass for a garnish, and plop a cherry inside the drink if desired. Serve immediately.
