How do you store rapini?

Refrigerator

- Trim off the tough ends of the rapini.

- Rinse the rapini thoroughly in cold water.

- Drain the rapini well and pat it dry.

- Place the rapini in a plastic bag or container.

- Seal the bag or container and place it in the refrigerator.

- Rapini will stay fresh in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Freezing

- Blanch the rapini by boiling it for 1-2 minutes.

- Drain the rapini well and plunge it into ice water.

- Drain the rapini again and pat it dry.

- Place the rapini in a freezer bag or container.

- Seal the bag or container and place it in the freezer.

- Rapini will stay fresh in the freezer for up to 6 months.

To use frozen rapini

- Thaw the frozen rapini in the refrigerator overnight or at room temperature for 30 minutes.

- Once thawed, cook the rapini as desired.
