How do you use aspic?

1. As a savoury dish

Aspic can be used as a savoury dish, such as in a terrine or pâté. To make a terrine, line a mould with plastic wrap and then layer with pieces of meat, fish, or vegetables. Each layer should be covered with a thin layer of aspic jelly. Once the mould is full, cover it with plastic wrap and refrigerate until set. To serve, unmould the terrine and slice it.

2. As a garnish

Aspic can also be used as a garnish for other dishes, such as roast meats, fish, or salads. To use aspic as a garnish, simply spoon it over the top of the dish. Aspic can also be used to make decorative shapes, such as stars, hearts, or flowers.

3. As a dessert

Aspic can also be used as a dessert, such as in a fruit salad or a parfait. To make a fruit salad, combine your favourite fruits and then add a layer of aspic jelly. To make a parfait, layer aspic jelly with whipped cream and fruit.

4. As a savoury snack

Aspic can also be used as a savoury snack, such as in a sandwich or a wrap. To make a sandwich, spread a thin layer of aspic jelly on two pieces of bread and then add your favourite fillings. To make a wrap, spread a thin layer of aspic jelly on a tortilla and then add your favourite fillings.
