How do you make milk ice-lollies?
To make milk ice-lollies, you will need:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups of whole milk
- 1/2 cup of sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Optional add-ins: Chopped fruit, chocolate chips, nuts, etc.
Equipment:
- Ice lolly moulds
- A freezer
Instructions:
1. In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar has dissolved.
2. Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the mixture cool slightly.
3. Add any desired add-ins to the mixture.
4. Pour the mixture into the ice lolly moulds and freeze for at least 6 hours, or overnight.
5. Enjoy your delicious milk ice-lollies!
Tips:
- For a smoother texture, strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve before pouring it into the ice lolly moulds.
- To make the ice-lollies even more refreshing, add a splash of lemon or lime juice to the mixture.
- You can also use flavoured milk instead of plain milk to make different flavoured ice-lollies.
