Can you use yogart in stead of heavy cream ice cream?
Yogurt is a great substitute for heavy cream in making ice cream.
Yogurt contains less fat than heavy cream, so it is a healthier option.
However, it does not have the same creamy texture as heavy cream, so the end result may be a bit different.
In order to use yogurt in place of heavy cream, you can use it in a 1:1 ratio, but it's worth noting that the texture may suffer a bit.
To compensate, you can add some extra egg yolks or cornstarch to help stabilize the mixture. Additionally, you can add some more sweeteners or extracts to enhance the overall flavour and compensate for any reduction in richness.
