Is cookies and cream ice a heterogenous mixture?

* Heterogeneous mixtures have components that are not evenly distributed. You can see the different parts of the mixture.

* In cookies and cream ice cream, you can clearly see the chunks of cookie dough dispersed throughout the creamy ice cream base.

If the cookie pieces were completely dissolved and mixed into the ice cream, it would become a homogeneous mixture, but that's not the case with cookies and cream.
