Can you make vanilla cupcakes without bean?
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Line a cupcake tin with paper liners.
Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Step 3: In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
Step 5: Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cupcake liners.
Step 6: Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Step 7: Let the cupcakes cool completely in the tin before frosting.
Frosting:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
Step 1: In a large bowl, cream the butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy.
Step 2: Add the milk and vanilla and beat until smooth.
Step 3: Frost the cooled cupcakes.
