Who invented lifesavers the candy?
The Lifesaver candy was invented by Clarence Crane, a confectioner from Cleveland, Ohio, in 1912.
He originally called them "Pep-O-Mint Life Savers" because they were designed to freshen breath and provide a boost of energy. The name "Lifesavers" stuck, and the candy quickly became a popular treat.
