Is it safe to eat frozen cake after 5 years?
It is generally not recommended to consume frozen cake after five years. While it may still be safe to eat from a food safety perspective, the quality of the cake is likely to have deteriorated significantly. The texture may become dry and crumbly, and the flavor may become stale or bland. Additionally, there is a risk that the cake may have developed freezer burn, which can cause it to take on an unpleasant taste and smell.
