A snow cake is a type of cake made with snow instead of flour. It is a popular dessert in Japan, where it is known as Yuki Daifuku. The cake is made by whisking together snow and sugar until it becomes fluffy and creamy. Then, a filling of adzuki bean paste or chestnut cream is added to the center. The cake is then wrapped in a thin layer of mochi (a sweet rice dough) and shaped into a ball. Snow cakes are best enjoyed fresh and should be eaten within a few hours of making them.

Ingredients:

* 2 cups of fresh snow

* 1/2 cup granulated sugar

* 1 cup adzuki bean paste or chestnut cream

* Mochi (sweet rice dough)

* Katakuriko (starch)

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl whisk the snow and granulated sugar until it is light, fluffy and glossy.

2. Add the adzuki bean paste or chestnut cream to the center and wrap it in the mochi.

3. Roll the cake in katakuriko to coat it evenly.

4. Store the snow cake in the freezer until it hardens.

5. Serve immediately.
