Is the dorset nanga pepper spiciest?
The Dorset Naga pepper is not the spiciest pepper in the world.
While it is incredibly hot, with a Scoville rating of around 1 million SHU, it falls short of peppers like the Carolina Reaper (1.64 million SHU) and the Pepper X (3.18 million SHU).
It's important to note that the Scoville scale is a subjective measurement and the heat perception can vary greatly from person to person.
So, while the Dorset Naga is certainly one of the hottest peppers available, it isn't the absolute hottest.
