Can you make ground mustard from whole seeds?

Ingredients

- 1/4 cup yellow mustard seeds

- 1/4 cup brown mustard seeds

- 1/4 teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon white vinegar

- 2 tablespoons water

Instructions

- In a small bowl, combine the mustard seeds, salt, vinegar, and water.

- Let sit for at least 30 minutes, or overnight.

- Drain the mustard seeds and add them to a spice grinder or blender.

- Grind the mustard seeds until they are finely ground.

- Transfer ground mustard to an airtight container and store in a cool, dark place.

The mustard will be ready to use immediately, but it will develop better flavor if you let it sit for a few days.

Ground mustard can be used in a variety of recipes, including sauces, dressings, and marinades. It is also a great way to add flavor to sandwiches and burgers.
