How do you know when dried chile peppers are bad?
There are a couple ways you can tell if your dried chile peppers have gone bad.
* Look: Dried chile peppers that are bad will often look moldy or discolored and may have a wrinkled texture.
* Smell: Bad chile peppers will often have a musty or rancid odor.
* Taste: Bad chile peppers will often have a bitter or off flavor.
If you are unsure whether or not your dried chile peppers are still good, you can always discard them to be safe.
