Is prune juice good for a uti?
While prune juice is a good source of vitamin C and potassium, there is no scientific evidence that it is effective in treating or preventing urinary tract infections (UTIs). UTIs are typically caused by bacteria entering the urethra and multiplying in the bladder. Drinking prune juice may help to flush out bacteria from the bladder, but it is not likely to kill the bacteria or prevent them from multiplying. Antibiotics are the most effective treatment for UTIs.
