How to Make Miso Glaze (3 Steps)
Miso, also known as fermented soybean paste, can be transformed into a glaze that adds a mild and sweet flavor to dishes. Miso glaze is often added to fish such as salmon, but you can use it in soups, salads and marinades to enhance the flavors of other foods. The traditional Japanese seasoning can be purchased at most ethnic grocery stores, and different varieties of miso exist so you can find one that suits your taste buds best.
Things You'll Need
- 1/4 cup white miso
- 5 tsp. white sugar
- 4 tsp. seasoned rice vinegar
- 2 tsp. minced ginger
- Bowl
- 1 tbsp. water
- Airtight container

Combine 1/4 cup white miso, 5 tsp. of sugar, 4 tsp. seasoned rice vinegar and 2 tsp. of fresh and minced ginger in a bowl.

Add 1 tbsp. of water to the ingredients. Stir until they are combined.

Store the miso glaze in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
