How to Make Blackened Seasoning
Instead of spending money on premixed blackened seasoning that might have too much salt or too little cayenne pepper, make your own. It is easy to do and the ingredients are standard to every spice rack.
Things You'll Need
- 1 tsp. garlic powder 1 tsp. onion powder 1 tsp. white sugar 2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. black pepper 1 tbsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. cayenne pepper 1/2 tsp. thyme 1/2 tsp. oregano Empty spice shaker
Instructions

Mix all spices together.

Put funnel into empty shaker.

Pour spices into the funnel.

Put the lid on the spice-filled jar.

Store spice jar in a dark cabinet for future use.
