How long can apple dumplings be stored in refrigerator?
Properly stored, homemade apple dumplings will last for about 3 to 4 days in the refrigerator. To further extend the shelf life of baked apple dumplings, freeze it; freeze in covered airtight containers or heavy-duty freezer bags, or wrap tightly with heavy-duty aluminum foil or freezer wrap. Properly stored, baked apple dumplings will maintain best quality for about 6 months, but remain safe beyond that time. Thaw apple dumplings overnight in the refrigerator before reheating and serving. To reheat apple dumplings, preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Place apple dumplings in a baking dish covered with foil, and heat for 15 to 20 minutes, or until dumplings are heated through.
