Potato peels will not clog an entire house's garbage disposal. Most garbage disposals can easily handle peels as well as vegetable trimmings like celery, carrot peelings, broccoli stalks, fruit pits, eggshells, corn husks, coffee grounds, and tea leaves among other food wastes. This waste material can safely go down most drains without causing serious blockage problems unless someone puts something that may obstruct pipes downstream, e.g. metal objects and glass jars.
