How to Make Pomegranate Jelly (6 Steps)

Pomegranate jelly is great on sandwiches and toast. You can even modify this recipe to make syrup for pancakes.

Things You'll Need

  • canning jars
  • 4 c. pomegranate juice to 4 c. sugar
  • 1/4 c. lemon juice
  • 1 package pectin
  • large pot
  • spoon

Instructions

  1. Put the pomegranate juice into the pot and bring to a boil.

  2. Add lemon juice and return to a boil.

  3. Add pectin. Skim off the suds and add sugar.

  4. Boil 5 - 10 min.

  5. Boil the jars and seals.

  6. Pour mixture into jars about 3/4 full. Seal and allow to cool to room temperature.
