How to Peel a Kiwi Fruit
Although it is perfectly tasty eaten peel and all, most people like to remove the kiwi's furry skin before adding it to fruit salads and other dishes. This can be a challenge-unless you know one simple trick.
Instructions
-
Slice about 1/4 inch from each end of the fruit.
-
Gently press a thin-lipped teaspoon in between the skin and the flesh of the fruit.
-
Letting the kiwi rest in the palm of your hand, carefully rotate the spoon around the fruit, loosening the skin.
-
Slip the skin off in one piece.
-
Slice or dice the fruit as desired.
