How to Use Anchovy Paste to Make a Caesar Salad

  1. Blend garlic, anchovy paste, and salt with a whisk.

  2. Add lemon juice and worcestershire sauce. Continue whisking.

  3. Add mayonnaise and whisk for about a minute until thick.

  4. Add olive oil slowly, while continuing to whisk the mixture vigorously.

  5. Add two tablespoons of parmesan cheese.

  6. Toss 1/3 cup of dressing with croutons, as well as washed, dried, and cut Romaine leaves. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan.

How to Use Anchovy Paste in a Meat Rub

  1. Crush a clove of unpeeled garlic. Put it on a cutting board and place a wide knife over the clove, with the blade flat. This will remove the skin. Then, chop the garlic, push it all into a little pile, and crush it with the flat blade once again. Repeat until garlic is completely crushed, and be sure to retain its juices for maximum flavor.

  2. Mix crushed garlic with one teaspoon of anchovy paste.

  3. Whisk in olive oil, salt and pepper.

  4. Rub onto your favorite beef, poultry, fish, lamb, or pork and cook as desired.

How to Use Anchovy Paste in a Delicious Pasta Sauce

  1. Saute mushrooms in olive oil until light brown.

  2. Add garlic and pepper flakes. Saute, but do not brown.

  3. Add zucchini and stir for one minute.

  4. Add tomatoes, capers and anchovy paste. Stir for two minutes over low heat.

  5. Stir sauce into pasta, then add 1/2 cup of water. Season with parsley, salt, pepper and parmesan cheese. Toss, blend and serve.
