Used baking soda and chlorine tablets pool is still green what do you now?
Check the pH level - Baking soda raises pH levels, so check to make sure the pH is between 7.2 and 7.8. If the pH is too high, add muriatic acid to lower it.
Add more chlorine- Chlorine tablets can take time to dissolve completely. Add additional tablets to the pool and let them dissolve completely.
Shock the pool- shocking with a chlorine shock treatment or non-chlorine shock treatment can help kill algae and other contaminants.
Clean the filter- A clogged filter can prevent the chlorine from circulating properly. Backwash the filter according to manufacturer instructions.
Use an algaecide An algaecide can help prevent the growth of algae. Add an algaecide according to the product instructions.
Circulate the water- Running the pump for at least 8-12 hours a day will help circulate the chlorine and keep the pool clean.
