Betty Crocker Apple Crisp Recipe
Ingredients
Filling:
- 5 cups tart apples, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Topping:
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until the apples are evenly coated.
3. Pour the apple filling into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
4. In a medium bowl, combine the granulated sugar, flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Stir until well combined.
5. Pour the topping mixture over the apple filling.
6. Drizzle the melted butter over the topping.
7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are tender.
8. Let cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
