How do you use a dishwasher?

1. Scrape off food scraps before loading. Leftover food on dishes can clog the drain and reduce the effectiveness of the dishwasher.

2. Loading your dishwasher.

- Place large items, such as pots and pans, in the bottom rack.

- Place smaller items, such as glasses and cups, in the top rack.

- Make sure that dishes are facing down and that they do not block any of the water jets.

- Do not overload the dishwasher. This can prevent the dishes from getting properly clean.

3. Add dishwasher detergent. Pour the detergent into the detergent dispenser. The amount of detergent you will need depends on the size of the load and the type of detergent you are using.

4. Select the desired cycle. Most dishwashers have several different cycles to choose from, such as normal, heavy-duty, and delicate. Choose the cycle that is appropriate for the load you are washing.

5. Start the dishwasher. Close the door and press the start button. The dishwasher will start filling with water and the dishes will begin to be washed.

6. Unload the dishwasher when the cycle is complete. Open the door and carefully remove the dishes. Be careful not to touch the hot dishes.
