How to Clean Visions Cookware (5 Steps)
Visions cookware is made of ovenproof glass that is see-through and versatile. The cookware can be used on the stove top, in the oven and in the microwave. It can also be used to store food in the refrigerator. The food can then go straight from the refrigerator to the stove top. Cleaning Visions cookware is just as easy as cooking with it.
Things You'll Need
- Dishwasher
- Plastic scrubby
- Dish soap
- White vinegar
- Baking soda
Instructions
-
Wash Visions cookware in the dishwasher. Visions cookware is designed to withstand high temperatures, so the hot water of the dishwasher will do no harm to the cookware.
-
Wash Visions cookware in the sink. When you are done cooking your favorite meal, Visions cookware can be washed by hand with a plastic scrubby, in a sink full of warm water with dish soap added.
-
To remove baked-on food, soak Visions cookware in the sink with warm water and a cup of white vinegar. The vinegar soak will help remove the food. Soak the Visions cookware in the vinegar solution overnight, then hand wash it in the morning with dish soap and warm water.
-
To remove tougher food or stains, mix up a baking soda paste. Mix a tablespoon of baking soda in a cup with enough water to create a paste. Put the paste on a plastic scrubby and use it to scrub off food that has baked onto the Visions cookware. When the food is removed, wash the Visions cookware in dish soap and warm water.
-
Fill the Visions cookware with tap water and bring it to a boil on top of the stove. Burned-on food can be removed by bringing water to a boil inside the cookware, letting it cool and then washing with warm water and dish soap.
