Black & Decker Quick 'n Easy Instructions
Black & Decker’s Quick ‘N Easy food processor is mean to quickly and easily slice, shred or chop almost any type of food, due in part to its 450-watt motor. The processor’s bowl holds 8 cups, and all of the processor’s removable parts can be safely cleaned in a dishwasher. Its functions include chopping, slicing and shredding.
To Slice or Shred
-
Place the processor’s bowl into the post in the middle of the base of the processor, then grasp the bowl’s handle and twist the bowl in a counterclockwise direction to lock the bowl in place. Place the long cylindrical-shaped disk stem into the post within the center of the bowl, then slide the metal slice/shred disk onto the top of the disk stem. The slice/shred disk uses one side to shred and the other to slice. Each side is marked with the word “shred” or the word “slice.” The desired side should face up when the disk is positioned onto the disk stem. Place the cover with its integral food chute onto the top of the bowl, then twist the cover in a counterclockwise direction until it clicks into place.
Place the food item into the food chute, followed by the food push. Press the processor’s “Power” button to the “On” position, then press down lightly on the food push. Once the food item has been processed, press the “Power” button to the “Off” position. Twist the cover in a clockwise direction to unlock it, then remove the cover. Pull the slice/shred disk off of the disk stem, then remove the disk stem from the center of the bowl. Twist the bowl in a clockwise direction to free it from the base.
