How do you get burnt plastic off skin?
If you get burnt plastic on your skin:
1. Immediately run the burn under cool water for at least 15 minutes. This will help to stop the burning process and cool down the skin.
2. Do not try to remove the plastic yourself. This could further damage the skin. Wait for the plastic to cool and harden, then gently scrape it off with a credit card or dull knife.
3. Apply a petroleum-based ointment such as Vaseline to the burn. This will help to keep the area moist and prevent infection.
4. Cover the burn with a clean bandage. This will help to protect the burn from infection and further damage.
5. Take an over-the-counter pain reliever such as ibuprofen to help with the pain.
6. If the burn is severe, seek medical attention immediately.
What not to do:
* Do not put butter or ice on the burn.
* Do not try to peel or rub off the plastic.
* Do not break blisters.
* Do not apply harsh chemicals or disinfectants to the burn.
