How rayon is prepare?

Rayon is a man-made fibre that is produced from regenerated cellulose. The process of making rayon involves the following steps:

1. Cellulose is extracted from wood pulp or other plant materials.

2. The cellulose is then dissolved in a chemical solution to form a viscous liquid called cellulose xanthate.

3. The cellulose xanthate solution is forced through a spinneret, which is a device with tiny holes.

4. As the solution passes through the spinneret, it solidifies and forms filaments of rayon.

5. The rayon filaments are then washed, dried, and woven or knitted into fabric.

Rayon can be produced in a variety of textures and colours, and it is often used in clothing, bedding, and other household items.
