Is a thermosetting frying pan?
A thermosetting frying pan is made of a polymer that undergoes chemical changes upon heating, resulting in a rigid and permanently set structure. This type of frying pan is distinguished from thermoplastic frying pans, which soften and become pliable upon heating and re-harden upon cooling. Thermosetting frying pans are known for their durability, resistance to high temperatures, and excellent non-stick properties. Examples include pans made from phenolic resin (Bakelite) and silicone resin.
