How do you clean a char broil masterflame grill?

To clean your Char-Broil Masterflame, follow these steps:

1. Disconnect the propane tank from the grill and be sure the grill is completely cool.

2. Remove all the cooking grates and heat tents from the grill. Scrub them with a grill brush and warm soapy water. Rinse the grates and tents thoroughly and let them dry.

3. Take the charcoal basket and drip tray out of the grill. If there is any char or ash in them, dump them out and clean the basket and tray with warm soapy water. Rinse them and let them dry.

4. Turn the grill on and heat to high. Let the grill heat for about 10 minutes until it’s hot enough to burn off the grease and debris inside.

5. Turn the grill off, let it cool slightly and then open the hood of the grill.

6. With the grill still warm, scrape the inside of the firebox with a steel grill brush. If the grill is really dirty, you can spray the firebox with an oven cleaner before brushing it.

7. Remove and dump out any ash from the burn box of your grill.

8. Scrub the heat deflector with the bristle brush and wipe it clean with a moist paper towel.

9. Let everything dry completely before reattaching the components and storing your grill.
