How do you cook kale?
Ingredients
* 1 large bunch of kale
* 3 tablespoons olive oil
* 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 garlic clove, minced
* 1 shallot, chopped
Instructions
1. Remove the kale leaves from the stems and wash them thoroughly. Dry them completely.
2. Chop the kale leaves into bite-sized pieces.
3. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the kale, salt, and pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until the kale is wilted and crispy, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the garlic and shallots and cook for 1 minute more.
5. Remove the skillet from the heat and serve the kale immediately.
Serve tips
- Kale is a great addition to stir-fries, soups, salads, and more.
-You can cook kale ahead of time and reheat it gently when you're ready to serve.
-To make kale chips, toss the kale in some olive oil, salt, and pepper and bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-15 minutes, or until crispy. Enjoy!
